btw...just so you guys know, the lotus eater is in reference to the "lotus" which a symbol commonly reffered to in eastern shamanism, particularly the chakrah system, and particularly the lotus is tied to the crown chakrah, which is physically located on the top of the head. its our connection to the divine, (refer to alex grey's painting of "divine light" and "dying" (its on his website *wink*)), hence mike's reference to "tired about reaching for the light." *because the lotus eater is a mean and nasty bastard.*
