Heaviest Opeth Riff

I think the final riff of Deliverience is pretty heavy in a weird kind of off beat way. \m/

There's something about the repetition of it that makes it border on insanity and it's the moment I look forward to the most on the entire Deliverance album. Probably "DEMON--DEMON OF THE FALL!" is THE heaviest riff, but I think the end riff of "Deliverance" runs a very close second. What the "Deliverance" riff has to its advantage is how sustained it is...really gives you some time to get into it.

In The Mist She Was Standing 7:29

Not that agressive, but so dark and also so beautiful. It's very powerful and that's what i mean when i say it's heavy really.
And then :yell: "oooh darkness encloses..." o_O
Easily one of my favourite pieces in music.

The Twilight is my Robe (my favorite Opeth song) -- 7:48 and onwards to the end

"I diiieeeeeeeeeeeeeee"

Man that song, to me, is so freaking powerful sounding

My runner up is:

6:45 in April Ethereal, basically all the way to the end :yell:

they're all just so fucking heavy!

But the heaviest is the deliverance riff, because Mike thinks it's ther heaviest, so it must be the heaviest, since he fucking wrote that song! Go Mikael!
