It's chick vox not QUITE powermetal, but it flirts with it. Basically it's Bodom plus a singer.

GAHHHHH, HAET SINERGY (I can't stand that bellowy chick-singing style) - but while we're on the subject of flirting with power metal, another one of my all-time favorite bands is (brace yourself for a name of utter CHEESE)...KAMELOT. They used to be lame-tacularly PM, but I defy you to listen to "The Black Halo" and compare ANY other power metal band to that style; everything after and including Karma has really been totally original in the genre IMO, and I love it (and Roy Khan is an INCREDIBLE singer). For example...

Kamelot is power metal as far as I'm concerned. It's like Pagan's Mind. It doesn't matte3r how much you spice it up it's still power metal.

Yeah, they are, but IMO they're better and more original than EVERY other power metal band out there (except Sonata, that's a tie )

Pagan's Mind kicks significant amounts of ass... and I don't like power metal often.
