Belgar, if youre so fuckin wise then teach me better. And I tend to carry a grudge against the russians. I have a couple of russian friends, but if any russian would fuck with me I would be twice as furious as with someone from another nation.

i like them because some that i have encountered were true nationalists, with a lot a humor, and they certainly weren't fags like most people of western europe nowadays who try to get in the least trouble possible and to escape a fight although some mother fucker disrespected them.
i also like Vladimir Poutine in a way. after a terrorist attack in this opera a few years ago, the russians came in force to kill all the terrorists, vladimir said something that gave me shivers down my spine "now the world knows that no one can get Russia on its knees".. and thats so fucking respectful and true..
example ; the three main countries who tried to interfere with the imminent war in irac were France, Germany, and Russia. and what Romsfeld said about that is the following ; "we'll forget about Russia, we'll forgive germany, and we'll punish france..." he said that for obvious reasons : they're gonna forget about Russia cause they deserve respect, they are still powerful and imposing... they'll forgive germany cause germany is already at their knees since WW2. but he didnt hesitate to say that they'll punish france because this country has no real strength whatsoever, no one can respect such a pityful army like france's (although its still quite big and we have nuclear weapons) but france is just not scary enough to be respected... france has been ennoying the US for decades without ever showing the world that they aren't just smart asses, but ruthless soldiers too (well they were like so in the algerian war but that was 40 years ago). to earn respect you must be feared and loved by the people as i believe Machiavel so truly said.
Russia deserves respect, it is also one of the last powerful european countries which preserved the most of its culture and unique people.

Ok, for the reason above I can respect russia to, but you know, when you carry a grudge against a people ypure very uptight with everything they say. Perhaps I'm a bit jeallous too on them having a president who goes hard on things like terrorism etc. like america.

I think last night I was much under influence of Jagermeister. Yes, Pagan I do agree that the Franks in the Merovingian dynasty had long hair as sign of kingship and warriors had the back of the head shaved. What I want to remind you is not to use ther word "german" left and right, when at the time germania was an area whereas the Franks were a group of tribes that settled in Belgic Gaul to form the most powerful group in Gaul that later became France. As example, where I am from in Belgian Flanders, flemish is similar to Frankish language only spoken in Belgium, some very small parts of northern France and Holland. German as it stands now encompasses the actual people from Germany, not the people outside.
Btw, it has nothing to with acting wise, it as to do with using the right words for the appropriate time period.
What is this grudge of yours about Russians? People from Ukraine or ex-USSR satellites countries can hold and hate the Russians for good reasons, what is yours?

My grudge against the russians is caused by all the wars sweden has fought against them. My mothers family is svear nobility and I am part Finnish-Swedish, I care very much for Finland, and my mothers grandfather was a Freiwillig (whats the english word?) in the winterwar; and basically my mothers family has a strong connection to the country, not to mention a certain Margareta Leijonhufvud who received it as a morning gift.

I don't mind or have anything against common Russians. They are no different than others. However, the country as a whole and its past leaders I hold a huge grudge agains those fuckers and always will. They did much harm to my family.

Our ancestors saved Europe from the Tatar Yoke and Germany in second World War. War with France (Napoleon) isn`t remarkable, because it was just war, I think.

but you probably meant that russia saved the freedom of each country then. but i wouldnt say that either for the USSR booting the germans out cause they then controled these countries. but yeah i'm sure russia protected europe from the outside, there's no doubt about that.

I think Europe would have been better conquered by Napoleon than Hitler. One my ancestor fought with Napoleon during the Prussian campaign but we gave a letter he sent from the front to have it restored and the guy never returned it to us. Very sad piece of family history now gone forever.
