Help a brother out? Recommendations?

Destruction - The new one is pretty good, "Metal Discharge"
Stratovarius and Dimension Zero I don't know much about.
Jag Panzer - Mechanized Warfare
Dimmu Borgir - Enthrone Darkness Triumphant is their only outstanding release
Morbid Angel - Blessed are the Sick and Covenant are excellent. Everything else ranges from good to utter crap.

What? Hello, anybody at home? Isn't there an album called Altars Of Madness which is definitely one (if not THE) real classics in the Death Metal genre?

Just my personal faves, but I strongly recommend
Destruction - All Hell Breaks Loose
Dimmu Borgir - Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia (I like EDT as well, but I think PEM is much better)
Morbid Angel - Altars Of Madness & Blessed Are The Sick; I'd actually rate AOM higher, but you can't make anything wrong with both of 'em;

Morbid Angel - Altars Of Madness & Blessed Are The Sick(morbid's best albums but i prefer Bless are the sick)

Destruction - Infernal Overkill
Dimmu Borgir - Enthrone Darkness Triumphant

Destruction - The Antichrist, Eternal Devastation, Metal Discharge
Stratovarius - Destiny, Episode, Fourth Dimension, Infinite, Elements Part 2
Jag Panzer - Thane To The Throne, Mechanized Warfare, Decade of the Nail spiked Bat
Dimmu Borgir - Puritanical..., Enthrone Darkness.., For All Tid

Stratovarius - Black Diamond, Elements, Eternity, Hands of Time, Speed of Light, Destiny, Anthem of The World, Curtains Are Falling, Chasing Shadows, Stratofortress, and many more.

Jag Panzer - Shadow Thief, Frozen In Fear, Black, King At A Price, Unworthy, Take To The Sky, Iron Eagle, Hellpay, The Scarlet Letter, and more.

Morbid Angel - Alters of Madness, Angel of Disease, Dawn of The Angry, The Lion's Den, Ageless Still I Am, Curse The Flesh, Immortal Rites, Lord of All Fevers And Plague, and more.

Dimmu Borgir - Architecture of A Genocidal Nature, A Succubus In Rapture, Mourning Palace, Burn In Hell, Tormentor of Christian Souls, Kings of The Carnival Creation, In Death's Embrace, Puritania, Chaos Without Prophecy, and more..

Don't know anything about the other artists. Hope this helps.

Destruction-
Stratovarius-
Dimension Zero-
Jag Panzer-
Dimmu Borgir-(got death cult only)
Morbid Angel-

Dimmu Borgir, I'd go with stormblast, but keep in mind it is a lot different. A lot tamer sounding in a way, more traditional black metal. If you like their newer sound better, which you might, I'd try out Enthrone Darkness Triumphant.

For Strat, I thought Episode was a good one.

Morbid Angel...I really enjoy their new on actually. Heretic.

I only heard Altars of Madness twice and I thought Blessed was better, my apologies. :)

Dimension Zero - Silent Night Fever, This Is Hell
Morbid Angel- Altars of Madness, Blessed Are the Sick

Those are the only ones I can recommend, the other bands i'm either not well versed in, or despise.

Dimension Zero - Aren't they that band with Jesper Stromblad from In Flames? If so, they have some kickass melo-death songs. It's thrashy like At The Gates, so don't expect IF, Pt. 2.

Dimmu Borgir - Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia(like DCA with more clean vocals and samples), Enthrone Darkness Triumphant, Spiritual Black Dimensions, For All Tid(shoddy production and little English but it's awesome)

Stratovarius - Anything before Elements, Pt. 1 is good. I like Twilight Time, because Timo Tolkki sang back then, and he doesn't have a cheesy power metal voice. Visions, Dreamspace, and Episode are alright, too.

I don't like Morbid Angel, so I can't recommend them.

Well for Destruction I'd get "Infernal Overkill", and for Morbid Angel the best is probably "Blessed Are the Sick".

Dimmu Borgir's best is either Stormblast or For All Tid, but I'm not really a fan of them.

For Morbid Angel and Dimmu Borgir, I'd recommend Covenant and Purtianical Euphoric Misanthropia, respectively. You can't go wrong with Blessed Are The Sick, Gateways To Annihilation, Enthrone Darkness Triumphant or Spiritual Black Dimensions either.

Mournful

Destruction-don't know

Stratovarius-Destiny and Infinity are okay, the rest is sub par power metal or ridiculously cheesy (or both)

Dimension Zero-don't know

Jag Panzer-Thane To The Throne is pretty good(based off Macbeth), but that's the only one I've heard

Dimmu Borgir-Spiritual Black Dimensions, Godless Savage Garden, Enthrone Darkness Triumphant and Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia are all good. Ihaven't heard Stormblast, and the parts I've heard of For All Tid didn't impress me much

Morbid Angel-Altars of Madness and Blessed Are The Sick (their first two) are their best, with Blessed being my favorite.
