Help me clean up this interview audio?

Hey guys, just finished up a phone interview for my site with one of the actors on Starz' Spartacus. I just want to know if it's possible to clean up the audio here at all. My voice sounds fine, but I think the recorder was too close to the phone's speaker, so his voice distorts every time he says something, just one of those annoying things. Is there any way to tone that down a bit? Here's a clip:

Probably possible with iZotope RX. I've seen it do some amazing things, and had fantastic results myself.

Interesting...Any other similar plugs?

Not that I'm aware of for de-clipping stuff. There's lots of noise reduction plugs that could help this, but I'm drawing a blank on de-distorting.

I downloaded the demo for RX 2, hopefully it will help! And I'll remember to keep the mic farther away next time. It's funny, I was afraid of it not picking his voice up well enough!

Yeah that RX 2 definitely helped, thanks! Removed the worst of the distortion clipping and I was able to remove some background hiss as well.
