Hey all,

I am new on this forum, even though -since being extremely interested in Dan and his music- I have visited here quite a few times but never had a reason to register. Until now.

I am extremely happy to publish the news that our little company, Disentertainment, has a pleasure to bring Nightingale to Finland. (...hopefully it is ok to put this here, if not the moderators can move/delete this)

Event is called "Helvation Festival", it is held at Dante's Highlight in Helsinki and the billing is as follows:

Friday 12.11.
PORTRAIT (Swe)
ENFORCER (Swe)
MALICIOUS DEATH (Fin)
SOLITAIRE (Fin)
SPEEDTRAP (Fin)

Saturday 13.11.
NIGHTINGALE (Swe)
SEVENTH WONDER (Swe)
MERGING FLARE (Fin)
BATTLE BEAST (Fin)

Ticket prices will be advanced 25 Euros/2-days, 15 Euros/day and Door: 18 Euros/day. They are available via Tiketti (easy to purchase in pdf):

Since Nightingale plays live rarely I know that this may attract people to come abroad too. Especially from Sweden it is quite easy and cheap to arrive and participate. If somebody wants any hints please do ask!

I will post here more information when it is available.

Cheers,
Vesa

Nightingale is planning to do a special jump to the Dan´s "brutal past"! This will happen (if it does, hopefully!) in a form of a medley. As most of you might know they have previously attended to do some clean vocal Edge of Sanity tracks such as Black Tears and Losing Myself but this has not happened before.

I personally am most excited about this!

We are hoping to publish the schedule soon.

wow....brutal past in Nightingale style you mean, or maybe something in eos style? Eos is brutal :headbang:

Even I don´t know yet exactly what that will include but definetly when we talk about stuff like that (brutal) it does not mean Nightingale :D But is it only heavier EoS stuff or can there be something from for example Moontower...I don´t know...yet. Pan-Thy-Monium? Maybe not. ;) And how is it performed? I don´t know that either...only that it is planned to be executed in a form of a medley.

However like stated this is only planned as a small bonus so most of the material is of course normal Nightingale songs, most likely spiced with those clean vocal EoS songs. Maybe the band can reveal more... Or when I know more I can pass the information - but naturally only if I get the permission.

No PTM, sorry  Plans for some medleys with EOS and rare NG stuff. One epic NG not played for many years ;). But we haven´t rehersed yet. Hopefully all of that stuff works well and we can kick you´r ass with it :headbang:

Hoooly shit that sounds promising! Not that I wouldn't have been coming otherwise to this awesome event, thanks to the low-low-low ticket price and lots of other bands to check out too.
Btw, I almost crapped my pants when I saw Helvation Festival's ad and Nightingale's name in it in Tuska, incidently, taped to the Wc-door

Sounds really sweet! :headbang:

Any possibility there will be a classic Dag-bootleg for all of us who can't attend? :D

Well, we knew the effect that the bands and the ticket prices would receive and wanted to place those posters close to the soon-to-be-needed facilities :D
