This just took place no more than 30 minutes ago at 1:00 pm. i'm sitting here looking up stuff on my PC when i hear a loud shriek and footsteps running across my downstairs apartment that we made into our first floor livening quarters ..kitchen dining ect. bed rooms are Up here on the 2nd floor. it sounded like a small child seeing some horrible, so i flew downstairs and went all threw the whole 1st floor...nothing there.
we always see things like shadows, and small orbs of light at night or on tape and pictures, BUT NEVER have i heard such a sound as that. i still got goosebumps. this is a old Victorian Style House going back to 1887.

Haven't had any experiences myself, but I know a couple people that have.

1: One of my coworkers & her daughter had a sliding closet door fling itself across a bedroom.

2: A family had their telephone ring in the middle of the night. They answer it, and it's only white noise on the line. They hang up, and it rings again and there's white noise on the line again. They unplug the phone..rings AGAIN. They moved shortly after that.

If anything like that happened in my house, I'd be sleeping in the garden shed!!! Ghosts fascinate me, but they also terrify me beyond belief.

Well after typing a long ass detailed accounting of all my personal haunting experiences and having it lost when hitting POST.....well, I give up. Sooo many stories to tell, perhaps another time. No biggie.

Hauntings are indeed real. That's all I can say! Ozzy Fudd, do you know the history of your place? This stuff is intriguing to me. (but scary too!)

There are certain sound frequencies which terrify ghosts. I have come up with a riff on my guitar that emits those frequencies and would scare the begeezsus out of any ghost. I will post it here:

Maybe ghosts, spirits aren’t confined to old houses, sometime in dreams. When I was 9 a girl my class died in the hospital late in the night from spinal meningitis. Well I can never forget her name because I had terrible dream that she came to me in my sleep; her head was burning like a candle and she told me that she died, but I had no clue she sick. But what was even weirder was that on the next day my heart sank when the teacher told us she died that night. Later in the morning I overheard another girl telling her friend she had that same dream, but I didn’t say anything to her, I just knew there was something supernatural about it, like it was something we should know that she's in a higher realm of existence. I remember that she seemed like she wanted it to be known and she was able to convey that for some reason.

Spirits don't bother me i have even went over to the one we seen (and there are several here i might add) here it just faded away. but the best one we ever got was when our friend(who is a spirit) his name is Richard would turn lights on and off right in front of us and who ever came over to visit. Richard lived in this house when we lived across the street.. poor fella was found Dead one day in the living room. he had no family and the kids would shovel his side walk and steps in the winter for him. a post man knew Richard was always home and needed to have him sign for a registered letter and when he seen the mail from the two days before still in the box he called the police.and that's how he was found. the house went on the market within days of his death. we knew the woman who was selling it. we full knowing the history of this house gave her a offer she could not refuse.

Yes it was real… Let me restate that when I said she had that same dream; it’s more that she said she had dreamed that Tammy died. But you know I think the flaming head was simplistic in my dream in a way that I could understand the she’s a spirit... I don’t know, but after all these years I have came to the conclusion that she was probably a really sweet girl, I really did not know her at all other than she was a girl in my class since 4th grade; kinda' shy and quiet too, but I think it was her sweetness to convey to us that there is life after death as enlightenment and also as a warning …That morning I woke up you know disturbed not feeling really happy about it, I remember thinking to myself what a bad and weird dream I had.

That's the truth.

My new girlfriend can actually sense the presence of ghosts if they are in a house and has sent ghosts to the light. She can also see them briefly out of the corner of her eye. I find the paranormal to be fascinating!

Great gift she has, i love the paranormal i would be a good candidate for the ghost hunters show, i often thought about letting them check my house but what we have here is more a Casper type not violent like they like to hunt out. if i can ever find the tape with the christmas ghost that my dog was going wild over i will post it it is short about 30 seconds or so but you don't see or hear anything until you play it back. i hope i did not tape over it .i have 4 tapes that i use for events and then put to DVD.

I'm gonna be seeing plenty of spirits at Lumley, charity ball, tuxedo do, very posh, and I'm going to get so drunk.


Anyway, I've had a few experiences, most horrendous one was when my mate lived in a house, it was converted from an old abattoir. We couldn't see anything physically with our eyes but we knew there was something horrible in the corner of the back yard one night.
The house suffered very badly from poltergeist behavior, everyone that went there saw and heard things. Dogs wouldn't go into the building, we had spiritualists who practically fled and we always had parties there, and we'd all crash and we'd all be woken by dragging noises and a smell of burning. Worst of the phenomena was centered around the staircase, and the sofa I used to sleep on was at the bottom, I could lay there and watch shadows moving around upstairs, even though everyone was downstairs in the living room.
People have been woken to find faces staring at them, we've had light switch cords banged against a wall so hard the little plastic bit on the end broke. Light going on and off, and in one case a room was trashed whilst we were all upstairs, but never heard a thing.
