Benighted1 said:Christrian Death metal aye, contradicts itself don't you think?
Braighs said:Nope . I assume you haven't read the Bible.
Braighs said:seriously? I have experienced sleep paralysis on two occasions. Hands-down the most freaked out I have ever been. I'll have to read the lyrics now...
UbiquitousLiquid said:No joke? I have experienced it once or twice in my 23 years of existence. It is freaking crazy.
really? thats too bad, because Extol rocks.Benighted1 said:hmm that middle word puts me off

On both occasions, it was while trying to wake up from more than 13hrs of sleep. It sounded like I was on a hellbound train full of people mumbling about their impending doom...or the weather I suppose. Visually...darkness with flashes of bright white. Tactiley...vibrations (like a train rumbling down a mountain.)
on-topic. I recommend dredg - el ceilo

A visit to this site might be a good start if you want to know more about the evils of christianity: http://www.evilbible.com/Benighted1 said:ha yea well I guess they do touch on the subject just a tad in the bible but still... even more interested in someways to hear what they are like now.

''It always amazes me how many times this God orders the killing of innocent people even after the Ten Commandments said Thou shall not kill. For example, God kills 70,000 innocent people because David ordered a census of the people (1 Chronicles 21). God also orders the destruction of 60 cities so that the Israelites can live there. He orders the killing of all the men, women, and children of each city, and the looting of all of value (Deuteronomy 3). He orders another attack and the killing of all the living creatures of the city: men and women, young, and old, as well as oxen sheep, and asses (Joshua 6). In Judges 21, He orders the murder of all the people of Jabesh-gilead, except for the virgin girls who were taken to be forcibly raped and married. When they wanted more virgins, God told them to hide alongside the road and when they saw a girl they liked, kidnap her and forcibly rape her and make her your wife! Just about every other page in the Old Testament has God killing somebody! In 2 Kings 10:18-27, God orders the murder of all the worshipers of a different god in their very own church! In total God kills 371,186 people directly and orders another 1,862,265 people murdered.''
I honestly dont get why black metal bands don't consider writing about god when they make ''evil'' music.
And anyones seriously ofended by BM? I seriously doubt that. And if they are, well it's kinda stupid to get offended by someone singing about fictional characters. duhwankerness said:Cause that wouldn't offend as many people duh
Anyway who the fuck cares about christianity being evil, it's evil sure but so are most of the other major religions, complaining about it is highly passe

I thought it was just me, but if I'm pretty tired and the environment is correct, I can put myself in this state and bring myself out almost at will. At first it freaked me the fuck out, because being in that state is something you have to experience, it's like your mind pumps out terror hormones into your nervous system and you feel a deep sense of fear although it doesn't come from anything. That's pretty sweet, I thought it was just like a half dream type deal I could get into
Yeah, I had never felt it until a couple years ago. I had read about it and read all of the people's experiences in the El Cielo liner, so I knew what it was after the fact, but it still freaked me out. The last time it happened was a couple days after I had eaten some pretty strong shrooms. I knew what was happening, so it was actually pretty cool. The first time, however, I was freaked.Rødt_Og_Svart said:Holy shit, there's a name for that?
