I just enabled 15 minute auto-save in the preferences...I don't know why that wasn't on by default

Because it always autosaves AFTER your worst "whoopsie" during a project - say, accidentally the whole vocals-container folder - and after that there's no undo!

I even caught myselft just using it while working on the dekstop..haha

I was scribbling notes on a receipt and reached over to my laptop to save my work... granted, it was :w and not ctrl-s, but after all those times I felt proud of what little connection to reality I've been able to maintain I just couldn't stop it.

Those types keyboards are great to use though. I mean they look really old now (RETRO INNIT) but they're awesomely fit for purpose.
