Holy Grails

I don't post that much anywhere but I read more on this forum as I find the people there to be far more knowledgeable and the atmosphere is generally much better then here.

Oh yeah, by miles and miles. That's my main board, even though I post more here since Violently Oldschool isn't terribly active and I rarely have much input because they're usually talking about bands I haven't heard of. I've been introduced to hundreds of great bands that I've never heard of outside of that board.

Same for me.

I've been wanting to get into Ensiferum and Suidakra but the local record stores don't have any of their albums in stock.

I've seen three diff Saint Vitus cds in the same store, and now that I think of it, I might go back and grab them in the next few days. One was the live cd.

The Wino era discs are not too bad to track down, but the other ones are a real bitch. Hallow's Victim was never released on CD.

Yea, I was surprised too
At least I havent even heard the names of the 85% of bands, that Dodens listed or mentioned somewhere here

Likewise with Treblinka.

My happiest finds have been:

Artillery - Terror Squad vinyl
Deathspell Omega - Si Monumentum Requires, Circumspice vinyl
Pagan Altar - The Time Lord vinyl
All 3 Drudkh vinyls

Sadly I don't have any Holy Grails, but not to long ago I did find two original Arghoslent demos and the first Slough Feg album on eBay. Should have bought them.

I downloaded a song think it was called warlord of hell and thought it was excellent I've searched high and low for a record ever since but cant seem to find one. None of my friends have heard of them either

the chasm - deathcult
sacramentum - far away from the sun (ive seen it at a number of spots, ordered it, but they always end up saying it is out of stock)
mortal sin - mayhemic destruction (they are having legal issues with printing copies)
uncanny - splenium for nyktophobia
alchemist - eve of war (EP)

there is one other, which has escaped my mind.

*edit* im suprised anyone has trouble getting burzum. HMV (mainstream cd store) has copies of all albums at nearly every location in syd.
