Two Mesisiskssin dudes from El Paso are the founding fathers of Mars Volta, so yeah.

Honestly don't bother with other Fantomas, or at least don't assume you'll like their other stuff because you like The Director's Cut. The other 3 LPs are infinitely weirder.

Meshuggah = my favorite band right now.

If you don't like Queens, you don't like enjoyable music. That's all there really is to it.

Kyuss is for the Black Sabbath fan in you.

I cannot for the life of me get into that new Mars Volta. It's as if I don't have the attention span, but I can listen to Funeral Doom all day so I could know fuckall.

It takes a lot of time, definitely. I can enjoy it casually, but it reaches a whole other level if I sit there for all 77 minutes straight, just focusing on it. So god damn album of the year.
