horror movie hoe-down!!!

The Returned--yes, the movie and not the French TV show of the same name.

I kept seeing this title on Netflix and kept passing it by thinking it would be just another cheesy eat'emup zombie movie. It's actually pretty well-made, the acting is decent, and the plot is something I've never personally seen in a zombie movie before. Basically it's about the struggle of would-be zombies (people bitten or scratched by zombies) being able to maintain access to a drug that keeps them from turning full-on zombie so that they can continue their lives. Distribution of the drug is regulated by the government, supply starts running low, a synthetic version is trying to be made but not working, and, as a result, a ton of these "returned" people face becoming zombies for good if they can't get their meds. Well I'm just rambling now. It was something different and I thought it was a refreshing take on the zombie genre.

I watched Horns yesterday. I was expecting it to be a cheesy horror comedy, but it was actually pretty intense. I wouldn't even classify it as horror, more of a mystery + sweet revenge movie, but I guess the imagery brings it into the horror category. Harry Potter did a decent job with the role, imo.
Agreed. Very cool movie.

We watched this flick over the weekend. It's a pretty damn cool movie. Great concept and a cute leading chick too. Nice reco

Anywho, recently watched some movie called Kiss of the Damned. Vampire movie that was light on plot but heavy on style. Definitely enjoyable with some hot chicks and boobs.

Having not seen this post yet, I watched this one and quite enjoyed it! Tis an okay vampire love story that balances gore and boobs with a pretty groovy soundtrack. Good for one of those times when you don't know wtf to watch.

This theme song is ace.
