I did post about this the other day but i'll post again.

I finally got the Semour Duncan Hot Rails in my guitar. I can't tell you how much its improved my sound overall. I was playing Wasted Years on my Marshall JCM 2000 DSL and the tone was exactly the same as maidens. Im over the moon. Thanks for the suggestion chaps

Now all I need is a pod 2.0 which im planning on buying as early as next week. Finally i'll be recording again soon.
