how do u like your metal?

what type of influences do u like in your metal?

folk influences: stuff with acoustic guitars and other european instrument

opera influence: with choir backgrounds and opera singing

classical influences: stuff with classical intruments i.e cello's, violins and other orchestral intruments

no influences: just plain ol' metal!

I like all of those choices, but I voted for folk as I have been listening to a lot of folkish stuff lately. Classical influenced is very good as well since I enjoy classical and orchestral music. Then again, there's the plain ol' metal! Pretty hard decision, but I stick with folk.

i know exactly what you mean. i love that keyboard stuff too. i dunno, but some of it feels like its cleaning your brain or something, maybe thats not the best similie but i hope you get my point

Folk and Metal work best together, they are closely related ways of expression. I'm afraid there's no good mix of classical and metal so far - all the therions so fare are nothing but fake and tedious. Classical music is breathing in every note, while Therion's orchestral tinkerings are dead and artificial.
