How do you pronounce Opeth?

I thought it was Oh-Peth but some say the band pronounces it Oh-Pith.

I don't know about that. They other day I was with a group of friends and I called the band Oh-Pith, and almost all of them said "What? You mean Oh-Peth?"

If you thought it was Oh-peth, why did you pronounce it Oh-pith? The only reason the band might pronounce it that way iss becausse of sweedish accents.

I went to the counter with that & a couple other cd's.
The guy asks me if I wanted him to open any of them ??? I said sure the Ope ith.

He responds "You mean Oh Peth" with an angered look. I said "Yeah that one" & haven't made the same mistake twice.
