How is everyone's training going?

Other than few push-ups n sit-ups i really havnt worked out lately. Too much beer and coffee and sittng on ass playing wgc golf on laptop. Somehow im still a lean mean 175 ; ). Not eating as much at work (no longer free meals for staff) thats helping the lb-age.

I graduated to unassisted dips recently (big deal because I'm female and therefore bottom heavy) and have been running outside regularly. Have completely given up on the idea of buying pants. 23.5" waist 33.5" hips 20" thighs lol.
 
Do you guys mix your protein powder with water or milk? I always used milk, but I imagine with water it might not taste very good.

Milk is better. I don't know why people would want to do it with water.

Banana flavor muscle milk is the best, but I go water because milk is fucking expensive.

What the hell kind of milk do you buy, organic goat's milk?
 
Muscle Milk is the only powder i've actually used. But a lot of people told me that it contained way too much filler ingredients and was overall a crappy protein. But i do have to say it tasted delicious and goes much better with milk ... but this was about 5 or 6 years ago.

What the hell kind of milk do you buy, organic goat's milk?

I drink at least 2 gallons of milk a week just during meals, and would have milk 10x a day if I could afford it. Great casein protein and tastes like jesus, but 3$ a gallon adds up man
 
Does anyone just suck at gaining mass in their legs? It's crazy how I am barely getting any gains in the last 3-5 months of actively strength training my legs. I'm starting to think i'm genetically made to be a runner and not a squatter.

After today I have only one more day left of the 30 day bikram yoga challenge! I took a double on Friday and then went to class at 7 in the morning on Saturday... Needless to say I drank a shit ton after that.

So happy to find a workout regime that works for me. Feel so much better and my posture and strength has improved a lot. Also just overall improvement. The kind of dance I do, it makes me really tight in the lower spine so yoga is helping with that a lot. Hooray yoga!
 
You definitely could do it. I'm the spaciest/aloof-est person around, and was able to do it most days. You're right though it comes with practice. If you're ever interested I have guest pass :p

There's a lot of men in yoga classes. It's an excellent way to heal/tone your body without causing stress. Certain exercises (like jogging) over time run down your body (in jogging's case your knees), ultimately, having the opposite effect it's suppose to have. :/ Though, I have to say there are tons of gay men that do yoga. I dig it though because I get along well with them. :]
