How is The Moor live?

Well arent you just pro

Lol now the flaming comes....

Im just asking why is it so hard for the band to play it live... i could think of some more Opeth songs that to me are harder... ( face of melinda could be one of those).

And im not saying i play it at 100% but that was the first song i learned how to play ( was my 1st fave Opeth song), the second one was Benighted.

And as for the singing, i believe since Mikael does almost all the writing, the songs came upt o be easily sungable while playing them, at least to me it is more much difficult to play and sing a song lets say by Dark tranquillity than one by Opeth... am i wrong?

( now continue the flaming please)..

Im not tryin to flame but your questioning mikes thoughts on a song he made up. And too be honest if its just a tab its probably not the way they play it. If mike says its hard i believe him.

i always wondered how well they handle the overlapping vocal parts.

then again, there are more in the leper affinity, and they handle that fine.

....... why does everything gets misunderstood?

well lets start over.

Why do they think it is hard, wich part exactly? that is what i would want to know.

Man, just try playing that song on guitar. It's way harder than almost all their other stuff (which generally isn't very hard at all).

First, its amazing. Probably the best song of the night when I saw them.

Second, no doubt, I was watching the guitars that whole song and those riffs are all over the place. Quick, big shifts. The main riffs themselves span many frets. Just looked like it took a lot of focus to play that one.

You guys know though, do Peter and Mikael control their own effects, or do soundguys take care of that? Throw in constant pedal work and that song becomes a real test.

This is something i would really want to know.. i am sure i read somewhere that they used Boss FX processors when playing live, so if that is true i dont think a soundguy can make the changes, but i may be wrong.

Also if it is possible it would be a lot easier i believe.

Im not questioning anyone, but really have any of you guys tried to play it?, i may be missing something, but aside from the acoustic part that on the recording it seems like there are 3 or 4 guitars playing i dont find it that hard...

I will shut up about this now..
