Hahaha, just sold my mk1 v8's about 3 weeks ago!


I thought they were a little lacking in the bottom. But monitors are very, very subjective to the listener. I'm getting better results with what I have now.

ASP8 since mid 06... They're doing quite nicely.


I've been through a number of different monitors over the years: Alesis point 7, Yamaha Ns10, Krkv8, Yorkville YSM1-p, and finally, Event ASP8s. I'm really quite happy with the Events... Great bottom end, unflattering & not at fatiguing as the v8's.

John Sayers mentioned how great Event monitors work when soffit-mounted, so I took his advice & have been very impressed with the results.
