How Often Do You Wash Your Pantalones y How Many Pairs of Undies Do You Own?

Wash 'em after every use.

About 193123942843 pairs. Too fucking many.

I knew there was a crass, mostly pointless and utterly out-of-left-field topic we hadn't discussed on RC yet!
 
I was discussing this with Thar and another chum earlier, the consensus was to wait atleast half a dozen wears before washing. It's just better overall for the jean, and unless your dribbling yourself with piss, how unkempt can your 569's become? That shower sobered me up btw, fuck/
 
I have dozens of pairs of unders...boxers and briefs both. Not sure why so many. I never make it down to the bottom of the drawer...there are pairs that probably haven't been worn in ages.

I wash my jeans inside out as per the instructions and I usually hang them to dry. I don't wash them very often...it tears them up and they're quite expensive at least in my opinion.
 
I can't wear briefs, Dorian. I have one pair. I bought them as the gf recommended them when i had to wear slacks to some fuckkng formal.gathering.

Those ish crowd my nuts. I need the open range of a pair of boxers.
 
yeah, I dig. I only wear briefs at work (scrubs) or when I have to wear slacks or something for a staff meeting/interview/whatever
 
Got three pairs of jeans that I usually wear, and I wash them after 2 or 3 wearings. I find that after wearing a pair of jeans a few times, they kinda lose their fit and get too loose, and washing fixes that. If they're not too dirty then I'll wash them on the delicate cycle, which won't tear them up as much.
 
I never wash my jeans unless they are most definitely dirty ie spilling something on them or whatnot. I can't stand the feel of jeans the first time you wear them after a wash. Also, I exclusively wear boxers regardless of what I am wearing. I'm going to a wedding tomorrow (6th fucking wedding this year, wtf?!) and you'd better bet your ass that I'll be rocking a pair of boxers underneath my suitpants. Is this some sort of rule for men that is analogous to a chick wearing a thong when she wears tight stretch pants?

There doesnt seem to be any hard and fast rule about what type of unders to wear...except for chicks wearing thongs underneath dress pants (I cant imagine someone deviating from that) ...I know dudes who wear only briefs no matter what, dudes who wear only boxers no matter what, and unfortunately, a dude who wears nothing no matter what the occasion. There's been chicks at work where you can see the outline of their underpants quite clearly (which I thought was supposed to be a faux-pas) but then there's my ex-special lady friend who wore thongs exclusively which I thought was in bad taste

more importantly.....lol @ door replacement. What exactly are you doing? Entire frame or just the door?
 
Dorian, about how long does it take for your pants to air dry? I've always found that it only takes a small amount of dryer time to take the post wash dampness out. Now that I know it's socially acceptable to not wash pants after multiple wears, I may wash them even less. Fucking hate the small amount of shrinkage that comes with excessive drying of pantalones. As for the undies, I own atleast 20 pair, and have them scattered at various residences & my auto for 2 minute warning usage.
 
A day or so. Faster if I put them outside. I might start putting them in the dryer though....sometimes they stink if I air dry them as if they got mildewey or something. Weird.
 
I have 3-4 pairs of jeans ... Lucky Brand is my game ... fuck I love their jeans, but they are around $100 a pair if not on sale. that's why I go to the outlet mall to get it from them ... typically 40-50 forints there.

but yeah, as above .. wash them when "necesarry" ... typically when they start reeking.

boxers, like 2 dozen or so.

and air drying rules .... never really did it until we got a washing machine when the kid was born for her stuff and now are using it for our stuff as well. no dryer as even the washing machine is technically illegal in the apartment ... so we just air dry stuff on a clothes rack ... totally different feeling than machine drying.

Hmm...Yeah, I think if I wore boxers with scrubs, I'd be a walking erection.

As far as the home slavery, just the doors. My initial plan was to get all solid doors because, well, they are nice. Instead, my frugality took over and I went with hollow doors that only allow a max of 1" to be taken off each side...and it's not a constant, even 1" either. I haven't even made it to the actual doors yet. I'm still stuck on the bi-fold closet doors and reconstructing them to uphold their structural integrity; moreso because of the vertical cuts. I started with them first because I initially thought that they would be easier. Not so with older homes built by a Portagee. LOL @ me. The next closet that I am about to tackle is going to be the worst because not only will I have to deal with the same problem but I'm going to have to augment the frame. I find myself cannot waiting to start on the actual doors. ...and I'm still not unpacked.

Oh, and eat the vaheena, not the arse.
 
I'm glad you posted a link to the type of underpants you wear. I had been wondering
