How old were you when you started smoking ?.

Yeah. It sucks how people are labeled as smokers or non-smokers. A lifetime of smoking ever day will give you cancer. Smoking once or twice a week won't harm you.

Maybe smoking once a week won't harm you but smokers smell like SHIT, their clothes SMELL LIKE SHIT, their breath SMELLS LIKE SHIT and their teeth are yellow. It might not be harmful but it sure as hell is a turn off.

How the hell does smoking once a week stain your teeth? Coffee drinkers are far worse in this category. Anything you eat will stain your teeth. And if you know how to chew gum and use deodorant the smell is not a problem.

Very true. In fact, studies from many years ago already have shown that one must smoke AT LEAST five or six cigarettes a day for many years to increase risk of lung cancer (supposedly the lung can still manage to clean itself with only that amount). And still, cancer is largely genetic. I smoke one cig a day, and cancer doesn't run in my family. However, there is a strong history of heart problems on my dad's side.
How and why do you only have 1 a day?
Two years ago I smoked 15 cigs a day...for the past yr 1/2 Im down to only 3 a day...mainly after meals. Alcohol increases my urge tho':erk:

Well, I pretty much only smoke when drinking beer or coffee. I have coffee every morning before work, and I enjoy a cig with it. When I'm drinking beers (which is only once a week, on the weekend) I smoke a lot more than once a day. So I'm not really a smoker, but I'm also obviously not a non-smoker. I enjoy smoking, and I have the discipline to keep it under control.

I honestly don't believe cigs are addictive. I have never felt the urge to smoke one, even after having around 5 every day for a few months when i was younger.

You never left the experimentation stage of smoking. I don't think I need to make the argument that they're addictive. The evidence speaks for itself and if you need further convincing then nothing I can say will change your mind.

Id say we're pretty much the same then. Its just the alcohol that makes it hard for me to quit completely. Booze and smokes is like peanut butter & jelly. They go perfect together.

but what is wrong with thrash? thrash is 10 times better than any power metal out there.

It bores the shit out of me. And of course, that is only your opinion. There are some excellent power bands. I tend to lean towards the progressive/neoclassical/symphonic bands rather than bands like Grave Digger.

Also that wasn't my best attempt either
