How to commit suicide...

what is the percentage? do more people that say they will kill themselves really do that, or are those the ones who are kinda abstractly silent?................................... and then are found cold and smelly.....

- Arteries take blood away from the heart, pumping it round your body. Arteries have a pulse. Veins carry blood back to the heart. Veins do not have a pulse. The blood pressure in the arteries is higher than in the veins. So if you slit an artery the blood flow will be higher and it's more effective. Slitting length-wise is more effective than perpendicular.

- Everywhere you can feel a pulse, there lies an artery near under the skin.

- The radial arteries on the wrists lie parallel to the long bones at the sides of the thumbs.

- One of the self-healing features of the human body is the clotting of the blood when an injury occures.
To deal with this:
A. Take blood thinners (4 to 8 Aspirin)
B. Put the wound underwater. Lying in a bath tub full of water works.

Procedure:

1. Take the Aspirin
2. Wait one hour
3. Get an unused, sharp razor
4. Lie down in the bath tub
5. Fill it with water
6. Slit your radial arteries LENGTH-WISE

P.S. You can try drinking alcohol before doing it, since the pain will be lower.
Slitting more than one artery increases certainty.

I felt this thread might show some people the path and the way.

Christ are you a little bitch. Bitching like a bitch. Holy shit.

Maybe Jon Nödtveidt can enlighten us as to what is the best route for suicide. It seems like he did a pretty good job of his own.

I'm with Tyler, why the endless thread bumping? No little bitch whining there, just a simple damn observation.

Also, sure people should be allowed to kill themselves, but that does not make it any less stupid.

Razorblades fucking hurt like Hell. It's extremely difficult for a human to slice so deep as to actually sever the artery. The solution is putting your arm in a bucket of icewater for an hour before proceeding with the actual cutting.

You're welcome.

I thought the point of lying in warm water was to ease the cramps you get from bleeding out, thus making it more painless.

Shooting yourself in the head with anything less than a shotgun (i.e. full head removal...) isn't actually a fullproof way of doing things. People have lived after bullets and crossbow bolts have passed through (or become lodged in) their brains, and the gun-in-mouth technique is apt to miss everything important and just leave you a vegetable, but very much alive. Could try dumb-dumbing that round first to help it mushroom out inside the skull, which will remove more brain matter, and the cerebal cortex.

That is a positive side effects, that it eases the cramps and coldness when the body passes into shock (medical "shock", not psychological), but the main reason is to keep the blood from clotting and thus sealing the wound.
