How to post an image?

How the hell do you post an image in a thread? I feel like an idiot, but I can't get it to work. Help!

Don't feel bad! It took me forever to figure out the picture posted had to be on a website.

You can right click any picture and then go to properties to get the url

I thought of it and came to the conclusion that even if he asked this because he wants to post an Opeth picture, this thread has nothing to do with Opeth's music or performances.
