Dear Dark Tranquillity Fan!

If you are receiving this E-Mail, you were one of the unfortunate people who
received a defective copy of the new Dark Tranquillity CD, "Damage Done".
The mistake is a production error that causes the last one to two seconds
from Track 1 ("Final Resistance") and also Track 11 ("White Noise/Black
Silence"), which so far has been found on some versions of both the
jewel-case and Digipak versions of the album. Exactly how the error
occurred we are still unable to determine, but we apologize to both the band
and especially the fans who feel inconvenienced by this glitch - we have
already identified the problem with the remaining copies we have in our
possession and returned all of them to our manufacturing plant to be
replaced with corrected CDs. So how do you go about getting the missing 4
seconds? That procedure is relatively simple:

Please send the CD itself (just the disc itself, without the jewel-case or
Digipak or any packaging) in a stamped envelope to the following address:
(Please be sure to also include your full name and mailing address written
clearly and legigly!)
Century Media Records
Schäferstr. 33a
Keyword: "Damage Done"
44147 Dortmund
GERMANY

We will then send you a brand new, error-free CD by post (in a protective
slipcase) which you can then insert into your existing package. The discs
will be sent back within 3-4 business days within Germany, or a bit longer
for outside countries depending on Air Mail delivery times).

In the meantime you can check the following websites for more Dark
Tranquillity information including MP3s, Videos, pictures, etc.:

We thank you for your understanding,

Your Century Media team

Please Note! - We have had several inquiries about the CD-ROM video track
for the song "Monochromatic Stains" not functioning properly - however,
there are no errors or defects with the video on any copies that we have
checked. All of the problems encountered by customers so far were the
result of either incompatible system requirements, or (most often) that the
customer did not have the latest version of the Quicktime media player
installed (version 5.0 or better is required). If you do not have Quicktime
or have the old version, you can download version 6.0 for free from their
website:

Why can't they send back the fuck up CD too? They will not have any use for it anyway... OK, I know someone might give the fucked up copy away but after all the truble I have gone through (this has been very hard for me) I think that is the least they could du for me

I just don't want to give my CD away because it might be rare and the booklet is signed (I think I have mentioned that before) so giving the original CD away wille make worth less! I am planning to sell this whaen I need money so I never have to work! And means I dontä need to syudy either! I had it all figured out and now they say I should give it away! Never!! :(

Uh.. What time is it....? o_O

Then I better hide in the forest for some years. I might have to do that anyway... :erk:

But why would they try to force the CD from us? Some conspiracy I haven't heard about...?

Another one. They're all over the place. It's an evil conspiracy (so phyre and ormir must have something to do with it) :D

Aliens are just silly. Look at their arms, how thin thay are! And it's easy to hit them in the face (big head, perfect height) Even a little girl can knock them down ;)

Yeah, but then people will go around all the time asking if they really were soviet soldiers. Which would prevent them from speaking with all the dotted a's of course.

In my opinion, it may be better not to send back the CD, as shipping is expensive, and as was said before, there is no promise it will arrive in perfect condition.

Also if it is shipped from outside Germany, international shipping costs a small fortune. Better to burn the missing track from MP3s later.

But then that's what the evil bad guys are counting on, ppl not sending back their defect cds for whatever reason

CM stinks man...
The DD CD that my supplier brought in also has errors, and as a music lover, i cannot accept that. I had to get my supplier to ensure that the next batch he brings in is error free. And he has to ensure it with his supplier from abroad too... so troublesome... in the mean time, I'll just burn myself a copy of the MP3s I have to a CDR till the error free version arrives...
mabye DT shld go back to Osmose afterall... all these big labels like NB & CM never seem to get things right
