"Final Resistance"...Best Dark Tranquillity Opener?

I've been listening to DAMAGE DONE nonstop now and when hearing the opening track, I STILL feel the same way that I did when I first heard it.

When I popped in the CD and heard the first couple of seconds of "Final Resistance," I knew I was in for some great Dark Tranquillity metal...but then it just EXPLODES!!! I just felt a warm, overwhealming feeling of glee. It's just as great as Arch Enemy's "Enemy Within," Opeth's "April Ethereal," Metallica's "Battery," In Flames' "Behind Space," or any other worthy @$$ kicking opener.

after thorough consideration, i've come to the conclusion that for me wonders at your feet is a better opener than final resistance. then i'd say dreamlore degenerate, punish my heaven, nightfall by the shore of time, freecard. final resistance is actually a better song than wayf, still not as good an opener.

I like the wierd creepy intro to Hours Passed in Exhile, probably the best intro to any Dark Tranquillity song, next to the bass intro in Lethe.

Actually, I consider it the least effective of Dark Tranquillity's openers - possibly because its not exactly my favourite by them. Best is probably wonders at your feet...

Well...yes, I wholeheartedly agree with "Battery" being the all-time @$$kicker of metal openers. But I do think "Final Resistance" has the power and energy of a great opener.
