I cannot tell you how much I appreciate you, Michael, and I'm very grateful for what you did for us regardless of the outcome. So - from one group of "just a bunch of goofballs" to another, our deepest thanks, utmost respect, and heartfelt wishes for the continued success of Symphony X in any and all endeavors.
From me personally, thanks for the effort on your part and for totally making my day!!! - it will never be forgotten (and probably will never be believed either, but that's cool!).

LOL - you just missed a little, but I promised not to be specific. Just something that once again confirmed my belief that SymX is the greatest band on the planet and that they have the coolest guitarist in the world! Check out the web site on the image below for more SymX thanks! :-)
Just checked out YOUR site - awesome tunes and very good work. Who's playing keys for you on that and where/when can we buy the CD? You can email me directly at cryptakeys@earthlink.net.

Hey, checking out your site now...really nice stuff. I love the singer, reminds me of a mix of the guy from Grave Digger and Hansi from Blind Guardian. As for my stuff...no one is playing keys, I programmed them :). My whole album should have been done in August, but I got held back trying to find a drummer and a singer. I have them now, and they're gonna lay down their tracks in the winter, so hopefully I can get this stuff out sometime early next year. The drummer is an unknown (but EXTREMELY talented) young drummer from Finland and the singer is from a band who's starting to get a lot of attention now in the metal scene, so hopefully that will help attract attention to my project :).

Well, our [former] singer is now officially gone. For reasons known only to God, he failed to call or appear for a gig and, since I am the band's manager as well as the keyboardist, he was fired on the spot. Of course, since the show must go on, I did a passable impression of Getty Lee and played the keys, did the vocals and played the bass and had tons of support from my band mates. It was probably the most fun I've ever had at a show and we're actually considering leaving things that way - although it is exhausting for me and tedious for them 'cause it makes me bitchy. :erk:
So - you don't happen to give lessons in keyboard programming, do you? I am a total computer geek but I suck with the board for some reason. I need like a tutorial for complete idiots! What kind of gear are you using - is it software synthesis or are you physically programming and using MIDI? I'm about to buy a Korg Karma, which I've heard is practically self-programming, but I'm concerned that it will be too much board for me. I am a pianist...NOT a keyboardist and it's been a steep learning curve, but I love the music.
I really hope your project comes along well for you! Be sure to keep my email addy and let me know when your music is ready - I'd like for the guys to check it out.

people at http://www.jordanrudess.com/phpbb/index.php can help with programming and stuff

I am actually a member of the JR Online Conservatory, which is a huge source of information as far as theory, chord structure and things like that go so I'll try the link you gave me as far as actual programming help - because I am really having trouble grasping the entire concept of MIDI and actual board functions.
Thanks!!!

Cryptameria Keys

I think this is a reference to Russ' stag night.
Cryptameria are a a progressive strip tease band that Michael organised for the night. Unfortunately Pinella got drunk and started abusing the band, punches were thrown and the Cryptameria guys high tailed it (hence the 'regardless of the outcome' comment)
The 'personal thanks for the effort' comment was obviously in regard to the lap dance she gave MJR that had a "happy ending"...if you know what i mean. ;)

Hope this has cleared it up for anyone who did not understand the original post.

LMAO!!!
I can't decide if I should be offended or just emotionally devastated that Russ had a stag night and I wasn't invited.
:-(
Very bad taste to knock the band, though. I'm the only one that ever strips - or fights, for that matter. ;-) LOL

Have your feet finally touched the ground again yet?

it seems i will have to continue to translate these cyptic messages.

After the lap dance with the "happy ending" MJR busted out a huge bag of coke and they spent the rest of the night doing lines off Russ' naked past out body....your usual stag night hijinx.

My feet are still nowhere close to ground level - although I did stop talking about it every 15 minutes! I cut down to mentioning it only once an hour when the guys threatened to stick their socks in my mouth if I don't shut up about it already!!! LOL But my head is still spinning :Spin: !!!
Hope lunch and your trip to PP are awesome, Jax. I'll see you there next year.
