hurray, cigarettes forbidden in public places

Experienced my first night at a bar without cigs smell. It was fun, but at 2 AM it started to smell sweat. Meh. Still, it felt better.

I'm a complete facist, underneath my calm exterior. IMO, smoking is detrimental to health and unpleasant to non-smokers. Smoking is a liberty that infringes upon the autonomy of others (in enclosed spaces) in a way non-smoking does not.

Thus, non smoking wins.

I never did go out to the bar very often but now I won't go at all because last year, Washington State passed a no-smoking law in public places. I can understand restraunts and such, but bars?
