i admit: i just don't like anime. is there something wrong with me?

I like anime quite a bit. I think it's fun to watch.

Akira was fucking weird. I didn't like it. Too weird for it's own good. It tried compressing like 42084239423482034 pages of story into two hours and make no fucking sense. Oh well, I'll read the manga sometime so I know WTF happened.

But yeah preppy, what anime have you seen and not liked?

Berserk is awesome. But if you watch it be sure to have the manga to read.. cause they stopped making the series at the WORST possible point... and one may suffer severe trauma if you dont continue the story.

sayin. Berserk would make an anime fan of anyone.

the ending kind of left me hanging too, but where it ends is not like completely arbitrary. it feels like an ending in the sense that it's kind of "capped" off by the first episode, and, more so, taken as the first half of a larger series, Berserk's is not a totally bad ending. if you know what i mean.

As for Berserk, I liked it a lot. The ending was fucking weird, though. I mean, all this shit with demons and all that. Just sort of..happened, I guess. I have all the manga on my computer and will read it when I have some time.

actually, i like pokemon.
last night i told my friend i wasn't a sinner for disliking anime because the board told me so. it's just, i always say 'oh i dont really like anime that much' and someone will say 'well you just have to see such and such! it's the best anime thing in the world!' and then i see it and i'm like 'zzzzzz'. and yea, the giant eyes freak me out.

Anyone who doesn't like anime has obviously never seen Spirited Away. That movie is just impossible to unlike (if this isn't a word, it should be).
