i do not understand why people are complaining about this fingerprinting shit

Being an information technology security specialist, that is my only concern. The security of our information in most government agencies is really poor (even the NSA for example) and fortunatly the people with a clue usually do not use the information they gather for purposes other than trophies.

well, then, let's join together advocate for better laws regarding the use of information, rather than railing against taking pictures of people who want to cross national borders (perish the thought!).
 
Having better laws for the use and handling of the information is great but at this moment it seems more appropriate to stop this fingerprinting idea, change the way we and you do things and then re-introduce fingerprinting.
