I found a console today...

I've got a 12 Channel Ward Beck t-1202 console I found on Ebay about 10 years ago. It's loaded with 12 m480c preamp/eqs... and was built in 1982.

It came with full schematics, so i was able to re-wire it & add an 12 output patchbay, post-fader for the preamps.
It was originally designed for broadcast, so it was initially a 2-output board.

I must say, it's built like a freakin' tank & the power supply is unbelievable. So robust. It also weighs in at 110 pounds!

The preamps sound fantastic, BTW.... the 2-buss, not so much. Hence the patchbay.

I might consider parting with it if someone offers me enough cash.

i found a console a couple weeks ago that i could probably score a good deal on...it's a 16-channel allen & heath from the mid to late 80s, and it's sitting in an abandoned studio above a local music shop. there's an ok chance i might be moving into the space in the near future, and i'm gonna see if i can inherit the A&H with it!
