...that there really is no such thing as a bad Opeth song. You might like certain ones over other ones, but you would never have to skip a track because you're thinking "man, this song sucks!"
At least for me anyway.
It's too hard to pick a fave album for me though because they're ALL REALLY GOOD, and each album is different from it's predecessor (spell check). This makes it kind of a moot point to compare them in terms of which is better, cause they're all just too good.
Opeth evolves with every album too, making the choice even harder, because you get used to how the last album sounded, then are presented with something a little different on the next!
Short of turning into a disco band, Opeth will probably never do anything wrong in my eyes as musician's. They're too smart for that. And think what you will about that, but I'm just here to show some love for a favorite band of mine that I appreciate as a musician. It's not a contest about who's the bigger fan, who's got better indie morals, or who listen's to better music.
I just like Opeth, and I'd cut off one of my fingers to see them play live.
