it's like a synthesis of all their previous styles, excepting maybe pablo honey. no truly "great" songs have emerged for me yet, though, but that doesn't mean they're not there.

someone at my office asked if maybe radiohead leaked the songs out and said they are "rough mixes" so that if they see responses to them where people mention what could be improved, they then could go into the studio fix the complaint and release it in june as the "true" final mix.

not that i think radiohead is a band that could be guilty of pandering to their audience but its an interesting thought.

i hink I need to sit down with my bong and a radiohead album and actually give them a fair listen, instead of someone flipping through 30 seconds of each song 'showing' me the album. I hate that.

i think it's also that it will encourage people to actually buy the album; the role of "leaked pre-release" is fulfilled not by final songs, but by rougher stuff. also, it'll be fucking tough to assemble the real album on filesharing services with all the rough mixes floating round.

i think they are one of the few bands in my experience who have lived up to the hype that surrounded them josh.

but i agree that i hate when people play me brief snippets to see what i think, i also am guilty of such things. But i bought OK Computer and sat and listened for awhile and i really loved it. i need to get the other albums and do the same although i like what i have heard from them tremendously.

i really like radiohead. i get scared by people that are like "I HATE RADIOHEAD COMPLETELY". it seems pretty stubborn.

anyway, i haven't heard the new one :(

i didnt like them until OK because i never really gave them a chance because of radiohead-shouters. but yeah they are good, even though they are often beloved (and hated) for the wrong reasons.

i mean like, there are bands i am not into at all, but i understand certain people really like them. i dont want around denouncing them since you know, it's a matter of opinion and all... people are just so weird.

That's when you have to pull out the ol' "I don't NOT like them..."

or sometimes I say "I just don't find them aesthetically pleasing."

But then there are bands like Craztytown, where you really do have to come out and say that they should be shot for even looking at instruments.

the fact that the new Crazytown album flopped horribly makes me joyous beyond belief.

they like tried to go all hard..but still stay sexy and shirtless..and didn't succeed.

what new crazytown album you ask?

exactly duderz.

plus they got booed at ozzfest by kids who think Disturbed is the shiznit.

i have never heard of any of the bands people talk about, like ever. i DO know who radiohead tho. if it's outside of a STP/nirvana/rolling stones/ 50 cents sort of sphere, i'm most

there's different kinds of booing.

what neurosis got is what Fantomas get everytime they open up for Tool.

pissing off 13 year old rap kids with your music is cool.

Crazy Town got the..."you guys are too gay and pop for this gay pop tour" boo...

and that hurts..alot.
