RTC bored the pants off me. other than a cool guitar tone, the songs were just really blah, and i could never make it past a few tracks. this new one i actually liked for a few weeks before terminally shelving it.

Breeding Death: 9/10
RTC: 5/10
Whatever the New One is Called: 6/10

also, when I listen to RTC.. I basically only listen to the guitar

man!! that guitar tone.. I freakin' love it, the guitar alone makes that album what it is for me.

The guitar tone is cool, but overall Bloodbath is an example of what happens when you try to recapture spontaneous inspiration through calculated means...slight and disposable.

ITP, non-comprehensive list of albums that pull off this guitar sound better:

Grave "Into the Grave"
Entombed "Left Hand Path"
Dismember "Like an Ever Flowing Stream"

I bought it, strongly disliked it and haven't listened to it much since then. "Eaten" does indeed rule, but it was meh outside of that. Again, the guitar tone and vocals were what made RTC so great, but the sound of the latest one was similar in vein to the EP, it just lacked the good music the EP had. I think I got it late last year and it didn't make my Top 25, everything about it just felt off.
