I'll take any album up to Done With Mirrors. Everything else sucks, IMO. As soon as they gave up the dope, they socked. Saw them in '86. Lost interest very quickly after Permanent Vacation came out. Still listen to Live Bootleg regularly.

Aerosmith was good before they sobered up. Anything after 1986 or so is specifically geared to the MTV generation to be tasty and radio-friendly. I will admit, however, to owning Pump and Get a Grip, and having listened to these albums enough to make them well-worn. But I was young, and stupid, and not yet wise to the ways on the world. Now I am older, and a bit wiser, and I look back and realize that as much fun as it was to sing 'Crazy' in the shower while "cleaning" my dick and thinking about Alicia Silverstone - it's just not good music.
