Ibanez J Customs outdid themselves again.

Where the heck have you been man?

Vacation. I only have time to chat on these forum thingies when I'm at work. Go figure. Got kiddo #2 ready to come any day and we've had to do some big-time housework. Sad part is, I haven't even scratched the surface of my honey-do list, and the due date is 7/11. We've sold most of our furniture and we're starting to buy anew.

Like anybody cares - that's some boring shit there.

But spalted wood is still fucking awesome.

sorry dude, I forgot about this post when we got into the paintball shit.

the first auction is your run of the mill J custom, nice guitar, and $577?!?! wow, a steal..

#2 atypical CHIBANEZ jem copy, and a poor one at that...

#3 ahh, the PGM500, the standard model, nice guitar, to bad it didnt have a maple neck though like your #4 which I think is better :(

Has anyone ever played an Ebony Neck? Not an ebony frettboard, but a neck actually made out of Ebony? I was thinking that when I start getting enough money to buy parts off of Warmoth.com or something like that, that I'd get a guitar made entirely out of Ebony, since it's a really good, really hard wood.

I've never heard of anyone doing that before, its an option, but I think it would be rather expensive and not worth it in the long run..Its a hard wood, but I don't think its a very good tone wood.
