Argh, Paramore snare? You're meant to mix it with a real/other snare (well you don't HAVE to but Bendeth does in his mixes Paramore/Underoath/There For Tomorrow), otherwise it sounds really distorted and ucky. Can't comment on the rest of the mix since im on laptop speakers but that popped up straight away.

It's not 100% finished but it's almost there! I really enjoy the song itself, really fucking powerful! Just needs some extra tightening on some guitar edits I did!
The only thing that's annoying me is that the overheads are 100% centered : even though both are hard panned L and R all cymbals remain in the center... which takes a lot from the mix since cymbals are sounding pretty good!

They just named the cymbals wrong. Put one of the 'R' cymbals Left and the other 'R' on the right

Nitrobattery, can you upload the original mic'd tom tracks? As these tracks obviously have samples on them as they don't always match up with the toms in the overheads.

Edit: Maybe not, but I'm having trouble with the toms anyways.

Drums sound too dry, and the bass maybe too prominent in the mix, but pretty cool all the same.

My first mix with the bass, any comments? Is it too loud in your opinion? I went more to the "better mix" than "ok mix+sloppy limiter mastering" approach because it came out only as super squashed sounding, so its a little quieter, but it's still -15dB RMS.

There's definitely toms missing that are in the overheads, but not the close miked tracks. Did you put samples on the original tracks before bouncing? Do you still have the original miked tracks you can upload?

Yeah, the snare is sounding like shite!! I mixed this all through 2am to 4am LOL!! 80% was on headphones jesus... I need to start doing this in the morning, because I just woke up and was like: holy fuck this snare is astrocius!!!
