Alexi is an amazing dedicated frontman and provides us with great vocals, which fit the band's music perfectly. Having Chuck Billy there would ruin the very essence of CoB! Who wants Testament #2? I agree the lyrics could be much better, but this is how Bodom is. Don't like it? That's just too fucking bad. Go and listen to Death/Control Denied or Testament if you like them so much.

They don't give out all the lyrics on all their CDs, they give out a few. You made your point, and if you don't like the way Children of Bodom is, then you don't belong here. And if you do like Bodom, then good. If not, stop complaining.
I agree that CoB's image should not be changed. However, they could write some instrumental songs as well. Sometimes these are the best songs. Btw Alexi's compositions (all cob songs) are just perfect!

in the Interview Sinergy's vocalist Kimberly said that Alexi got very good Clean Singing voice.. But, Alexi said that it don't fit on Children of Bodom's Music..
So i think it would ruin the whole band if there could be a fuckin' Britney the 2nd and sing "Oops, i killed again" with Children of Bodom Heavy music on backside..
so that's my opinion, and i don't care a fuck what's your opinion..

Dude this is how COB is....
they are awesome musicians and the Vocals fit perfectly to them... I REALLY dont think that getting a Chuck Billy 2 would help them... It will destroy them actually.. Having Alexi as a frontman fits them like a glove...

About the topic itself, in my opinion Laiho's vocals are very bad and CoB lyrics even worse. It wouldn't probably be a good idea to get a proper growler (instead of those weak screams Laiho does) at this point, as the band is already what it is - changing members could easily lead to worse spirit within the band, thus we just have to accept them as they are.
But had they started with a real growler (like Åkerfeldt, Stanne, Swanö, etc.), they might now be my favorite band...

I have, and the worst thing in them is Alexi - not on guitar but on vocals and overall as a frontman. But, obviously, this is just my opinion and I well understand that you may disagree with it.
Believe me, I do.
But I also listen to CoB sometimes - and when I do, I always start thinking about how much better a band they would be, had they a proper vocalist. But to the main point - instead of telling someone to "stop your goddamn whining" when he just stated his honest opinion, you should take a look towards the mirror. You stated your own opinion well, but for the sake of discussion, you really should show some respect towards the opinions of others.
