I hate internet harpies and circlejerkers and that hasn't changed since I first began using forums 15+ years ago. If you're going to make strong claims and argue for pages, pretend to concede an argument, and then just upvote the person you agreed with previously and post dumb reaction memes, you're going to trigger me. It doesn't always trigger me because some people (e.g. TurkishDelight) don't attempt to make real arguments so I do it for fun with them, but if I'm going to put in effort making an argument with someone I thought was capable of making an argument, I expect recompense in the form of a counter-argument. I don't use internet forums to make e-buddies or create an identity for others to admire, I use them primarily to learn and to discuss/argue with others. If I ever found that there was no further discussion to have on this or any other forum, I'd leave it. Whether or not that makes me "triggered", I don't want to waste my valuable internet autism time.
