Apparently these Anathema fans have never heard of this new and interesting band called Radiohead before. Since they are new to Radiohead, I recommend Amnesiac, Ok COmputer, and Kid A. I think they will really like Radiohead.

I have no fucking clue what Papa Josh's'sx's's''s invite was for, all I know is I've heard one Anathema album (Judgement) and it was very good, and apparently their board here at UM was shut down following some e-war. And JayKeeley thinks they now sound like Radiohead, he's mentioned that many times before. Oh yeah, and I also know that Radiohead kicks ass, and I enjoy large breasts and long walks in the middle of nowhere.

Yeah, everyone should recognize that this forum and its regulars have been here for a while so I hope people didn't think they were invited to a secondary Anathema board?? We talk about all bands here, so there isn't any group favouritism towards any band in particular. Indeed, we have about the same number of threads as the Anathema forum, so as you can imagine, we're pretty set in our ways, heh. If forum or 'zine visitors come and enjoy, they're free to stay, and the rest are free to leave. Pretty much standard for all forums.

And no, I'm not going to start changing my opinions on Radiothema or colour schemes because a bunch of people have suddenly found themselves homeless. Why was it shut down anyway?

Because they couldn't afford to pay the royalties and forum charge at the same time, obviously. Seriously for any displaced Anathema fans, I'm tired of critics accusing everyone of being a Radiohead clone and like Exit and AND more than most poeple here.

How much is the forum charge? And I love Anathema, I am just critical of a band not living up to its talent. Shit I am still pissed at the drumming and lack of heaviness from the last Isis album, and I even love it more than any other cd Ive heard since the last Isis cd. So thats how much my opinion is worth.
