I'm sorry i'm bored so i make a new thread :grin:

So my question is : If you could go anywhere on vacation.. where would you go (in which countries/cities) and why ?

Well i begin :

1) Japan : i really would like to go there and visit Tokyo and Kyoto. I would like to learn japanese and i know i will do...i feel REALLY attracted by this country.
2) Australia because for a french like me it seems so far away ! Well it is in fact ... :p
3) New York...bah i'm sure i will like it :)
4) Prague for her breathtaking variety of architectural styles.
5) Italy because it looks beautiful and also for the history.
and also i would like to comeback in the Greek Islands because i was there a few years ago and i have great memories there ;)

I'd like to go to:

Europe because I'm a big fan of architecture and countries such as Italy have beautiful monuments. Italy, Spain, Greece, Finland, and Sweden are the countries I would really like to visit in Europe. I'm really interested in the cultures and lifestyles there. :)

Central and South America just for fun and the nice weather.

Mexico because it looks beautiful.

Australia because it seems like it's in the middle of nowhere and it looks like a good place to be to relax and a have a little peace of mind. :cool:

New York for the pizza and shopping.

Florida to visit the Magical World of Disney. :p

Since I've been living in Ontario my whole life, it would be nice to visit the rest of the provinces in Canada, as well.

Well, so far I've been to Holland, Belgium, and Norway; both for pleasure and Metalwhore. :D I'd like to go back to any one. Next time I'm in Amsterdam I need to take the Heniken factory tour. You get free Heiniken and cheese afterward my friend told me.

Next up:

1. Tie between Finland and Sweden. Been wanting to go to both countries for awhile. The countryside seems beautiful and I'd like to explore them both. And drink with the Finns. (I have drank with Swedes on many occations in varied places; just not Sweden. :D)

2. Germany. Seems like a nice place to visit. Of course, I'd love to go to Wacken!!(me and some friends are TRYING to make it in August.)

3. Japan. I have friends who went to Japan and they say it was great. I must follow suit; I'd love to explore that country as well and see some of the cool things there. I love Japanese food as well.

4. England. Usually England is a person's first European vacation spot; but I havn't been here yet besides on a little stopover on my way to Amsterdam.

5. And I'd like to take a lot of metal, a friend and a lot of coffee and smokes and go on an American road trip sometime, too. :D

Iceland, Norway -> Great landscapes, I have heard
Scotland -> foggy moors
Kanada -> to hunt bears
Peru -> Machu Picchu
France -> old castles
Germany -> Wacken

Poland > great friends there, Moonlight gigs
Germany > know my roots and see my friend Jenny
Whole Africa > Fauna and culture
Mexico > Mayan and Asteca (? dunno in English) culture
Peru > Incas
France > No special reason
England > Museums
Belgium > René Magritte paintings
Egypt > History
Manaus, Amazonas > Where I`d like to live
Canada > Live near gray wolves and study them

"Scotland -> foggy moors"

Watch out for roaming haggis, the bastards' will have your leg off before you can say "OCH AYE THE NOO!"

I'd love to go to Finland and Japan. Those are two places I must visit before I die. I'm trying to learn Japanese right now.

You must mean "aztec", Kuvasz...

Never seen any grey wolves around here, but I do know a story about them. A friend of a friend of mine once got into a little predicament. He was drunk and had to walk home from Fredericton, a city about an hour and a half's drive to the north of here (long walk!)... he kept having the sinking feeling he was being watched the whole way, and although he was exhausted, he didn't want to go to sleep. Finally, just when he was about to collapse, a truck stopped to pick him up, and the driver told him to get the hell in the truck as fast as possible. The guy did so, and was shocked to see over a dozen pairs of eyes glimmering in the headlights, and paw prints all over the road... it seems a pack of wolves decided this guy was worn down and easy pickings, and a truck stopped just in time. Maybe they were just curious but I doubt it. Wolves don't ever approach ppl around here, they're deathly afraid of us... but a whole pack had surrounded this guy. Pretty creepy when you think about it......

This one's for you, Torgoth Bear-Hunter: a professional mountain biker from where I live, New Brunswick, and one of his friends were out in western Canada, hitting the trails and cycling around. The pro biker stopped for a couple seconds, to adjust something on his bike or to grab a drink of water or something, I don't remember which, and then starting to catch up with his friend. He went up a short, steep hill and around a sharp turn and was horrified to see his friend on the ground maybe fifty feet away, being mauled by a huge grizzly bear. When he stopped, the bear stopped, and they stared at each other for a second... the bear charged, and the biker turned around and fled around the turn as fast as possible. This pro mountain biker pedalled as hard as he could, down the aforementioned hill, and the grizzly chased him down and knocked him off his bike before he could even reach the bottom! They are unbelievably fast. It bit his arm severely, almost severing it, but then wandered off (strangely, bears often seem to do that: attack savagely and then leave for no apparent reason). So in other words... if you're gonna go bear hunting, you better have a big fucking gun, and you better not miss. :grin:

Right now, there are only three places:

1. Bloomington, IL - To see someone. If you know, you know. If you don't, then you don't need to.

2. Japan - I have always loved Japan. I've always loved their culture and the language. I don't know why, but I have. I have always loved martial arts and the art of Ninjitsu and the art of the sword. If I had to live outside of this country, Japan would be my first choice.

3. Austrailia - It's fucking Austrailia! Not much more to say than that.

I've always wanted to go for a safari in Africa to see the lions... Australia would be a cool destination too.

And Germany, since I'm learning German... Finland, because of the cool bands and also to see where some relatives came from.

And of course some countries around South America:grin:

...I'd actually love to have the time and $$ to see the entire world 'cause when I stop to think about it I realize I want to see everything:yell:

lots of places!

Ireland, England, Scotland: visit castles and stonehenge
Egypt: pyramids, valley of the kings, the nile
Finland, Sweden, Norway: just to tour the countries
Germany: Neuschwanstein castle (i love that place), tour the country
Italy: Rome, Florence
Greece: Athens and other ancient cities
and tons of other places

I've had the pleasure of being in fucking Finland mwahhahaha :heh:

Among the European countries that I have Not visited yet, I'd especially like to go to Norway

Also, a couple of places that I must visit some time in my life are Egypt, Brazil, and Las Vegas :D

and back to Colombia, to spend the rest of my life in peace in the gorgeous Caribbean island called San Andrés :Spin:

well.. last summer I went to some of my most desired locations in Europe including Munich, Prague, Florence, and Salzburg. If I could go anywhere, it would be a cross between Japan, because it's just plain awesome, and Europe again because I loved it when I was there before. I'd like to check out Amsterdam, the Scandinavian area, and places in Eastern Europe (like the former USSR countries, where I'm from).

hm...

finland (again) and norway - i love the north
ireland and scottland - nice nature, castles and so on...and i´m very interested in everything which has something to do with celts...
