if you ever wondered what constituted a "gross miscalculation"

i am teaching a seminar today on death and dying (yay! my job is so upbeat!) but anyway, the director kept telling me it would be a max of 10 caseworkers and 0 clients.
it starts at 10:30. i just got here and got a message from the person in case management that wanted me to do it in the first place. he said there will be 50 case workers and 27 clients. when i called him, he told me that he emailed those #'s to the director last week!

in other news, my sister is always bent about how wierd my job is and how much i can get away with. here is her latest email:

"You could walk in the room to give a presentation wearing a thong and Then you could do a interpretive African Dance about death and you'd get a fXXXcking raise....."
