Yes, I've kind of chosen the "catchier" songs... But I think this would be a good introduction to all of DT's stuff.

A good topic Phyre!

This is something I've thought about for countless hours. I have tried it two times, but both were failures. This coming summer I'm going to try it once again - I hope Damage Done will be released before that.

About the musical history of... -concept, I'd definitely choose a different method than Phyre; instead of putting the songs in order of release-time, I would rather try to seek a more "whole package" with clear opener and closer -songs.

But as for the songs, the only ones I'm 100% positive that they will appear on my "DT best-of" -collection are as follows:

-A Bolt of Blazing Gold
-Punish My Heaven
-Hedon
-Nether Novas
-Haven

All the rest are still a bit unsure.

if i were to introduce dt to the uneducated, i don't think i'd follow any chronological pattern. in my opinion those diverse, listener-friendly songs would have a much better impact. so my tracklist might look a bit like:

@kovenant84: thanks! actually, there are a few songs i like more than some that ended up on my virtual cd, but i thought ppl that never listened to dt would be slightly puzzled by some same-sounding songs from the mind's i. of course if one tells me he/she likes that exactly that harsh, direct sound, then hedon will be among my first choices.
