I'm Back!

Oh, wow, I just saw this thread. That is FANTASTIC news, Sean. Please keep us updated on how you are doing. I can't even begin to imagine how it must feel to be literally given a new kind of life. God bless that young girl and her family for doing something so awesome as agreeing to organ donation.

Hi Everyone,

After 2 weeks in the hospital I am finally home and recuperating. Its been a long hard road but every day I am getting better. I cannot begin to thank each of you for the words of encouragement and kind words. Its a strange and beautiful thing having a kidney/ pancreas transplant. After being diabetic for 17 years now I have to get used to the fact that I can have sugar. I also can go through life without dialysis. I also found out that the donor was a 21 year old female who died in a car accident. Its a surreal, strange feeling that someone else is living inside of you. Thanks again for all the well wishes.

That's awesome dude ... now you can get in touch with your feminine side ;)

Seriously ... hope you get back to 100 percent real soon.
