FINALLY!I got all the footage that was shot that night from 4 cameras.I'm digitizing it right now.I've never done a4 camera edit before I'll be insane when it's over but it should look good cause I'm an excellent video editor!

I got most of the digitizing done then one of my cameras crapped out on me(I got a hi 8 & mini DV) So I started editing what I got so far.Finished "Aces High" & it looks KILLER!Very pleased so far!Sadly the sound will be what the roving cameras picked up.We had a tripod camera plugged in to the mixer but it wasn't plugged in right so we got no audio there.I do use the tripod wide shots.Lots of work!

I'm fine with that. I've been wanting the ladies to offer bootlegs for sale for a while now. I like how Metallica did it - they got fans to offer up their own recordings the band so the band could resell to other fans. Honestly, it makes it easier for some fans to get a souvenir of the gig they attended and it puts money in the pockets of the band, who deserve it.The rest of you lookin' for freebies can order it from the band!!

We appreciate that sentiment Rya! But since it is Maiden's music we prefer to keep it in the spirit and example the real deal sets and just allow the fans to trade amongst themselves if they choose to....
I'm almost done!!thirteen songs pain stakingly edited & q'd up from 4 cameras!I need to find a replacement for my one camera that crapped out to digitize the remaining material.I'm laying off on to DVD what I edited so far.I've been up since 4 am this morning & just finished.Hopefully I'll complete it tomorrow!
One of the dudes that was filming(we didn't know him, he offered & gave us his tape!) he kept his camera on Wanda & Liz the whole time.I guess I know who he likes.It looks Fucking Killer I'm pleased with it so far!

I missed the show...darn... didn't know the band played in NOLA.
Well, I moved from NY to MS recently don't know the area that well yet...

It's done!I'm making dubs right now.It was allot of work but it looks fuckin' KILLER!!The only thing is the sound's not all that great.I was a bit intoxicated editing the last song "Run to the Hills".I was up Saturday night & then some friends came over with a couple 12 packs & got me buzzed & they wanted to watch me edit!Luckily I got it all done right!
Each band member get ample air time,every solo,back up vocal,& the stage show makes it in.I was shooting the side stage cam that night so got allot of close ups of fingers doing fretboard work & Linda pounding away.I notice how animated Sara & Linda are withe their facial expressions.Well Linda's a cartoon character come to life!She's so funny!Sara's a ham & Aja just knows hows to work the room & is such an awesome performer.Wanda's just adoreable & I really Miss Liz, she's incredible in this.I also got footage of the after show meet & greet with improptu interviews.I just edited that in to a feature which will appear on my show next week.Can't wait for you guys to see this!
