A bit late but... the song is by John Denver A girl friend of mine adores it... actually I made a ringing tone of it on her Nokia phone

A cover version sung by some female artist also appears in that asteroid/meteor movie with Bruce Willis and Liv Tyler.... not Deep Impact but the other one?
