IN FLAMES Clayman Re-recorded 2020

"It would be interesting if there is a 3rd album, perhaps country or rap" line can be applied to IF as well.

I want to see In Flames cover this just to hear Anders try be black (this song is actually fire though, hate me)

Still waiting for Anders to show us his flow with a beastly rap verse. Can't be any worse than the stuff on Battles so I say go for it.

In Flames - Word To Your Momma (feat. 6ix9ine)

Was it the Battles or the ITM thread where there was the HUUUUGE beef at one point between slave and a bunch of others? I can't remember

That's basically every thread Slave has ever contributed to.

I just remember one day where I thought the forum would implode because there was some huge argument, I think it was about something completely unrelated like politics or feminism

That was the time when Laverna and that JesterSlaveJoke decided that it was a good idea trying to insult Slave by calling him gay so I went full on them with all that I had. So some people decided that I was being a misogynist with her before wondering what that was about.

I remember that :D I think it was the Battles thread. Although in Laverna's defence she did say she didn't give a fuck and basically told those thirsty bros to stop white knighting over her. Honestly JSS's misinterpretation of Anders' lyrics makes me laugh and I think he's mostly harmless so I give him a pass. Strange fellow though.

I think it was while we where waiting for ITM to be released but I guess that you might be right.

What annoyed me were two things:

1. They were basically bullying Slave because they, probably, thought that the most of us would be making fun of him.
2. The use of homosexuallity as an insult. Anyone that thinks that calling another person gay is an insult is a fucking homophobe and I cannot stand that kind of people.

And Slave can be almost as annoying as I am. But he didn't deserve that.

Yesssss I remember now! Oh boy that was wild.
They deserved every word. If you're going to make fun of others then you should also be ready to be made fun of.

Also, I didn't believe shit of what I posted at the time. But it was funny.

I feel ya bro, it definitely went a bit too far. Mostly Laverna to be fair... but I think it was more just an immature sense of humour than genuine homophobia. I hope so anyway! We're an all-inclusive crew here. Everyone is welcome - even Anders.

Oh 100%, I work in a garage as a mechanic, so I'm well accustomed to taking as much as I can give, and not much offends me anymore but even I know theres a line and it was definitely crossed there.

You know. When it is among friends, or there's a close trust, I think that everything is permitted. Meaning that you can cross all of the lines as long as it is a part of the code that supports that relationship. And as long as people is willing to accept that everyone can be made fun.

Just ask my wife :D. The things that I usually say to her... :zipit:

I guess is time to ask them to join the conversation here.

I would love for them to join us here. I get the feeling Bjorn would roll with the punches and be cool with everything. Anders would probably be offended and upset but we'd win him over with our charm and good humour. Not sure about the American bros. I've found some Americans are fine with self-depracating humour, and some get very upset if you try to joke at their expense.

My gf is Scandinavian and hates any joke at her expense, so I am not sure if that's common in that part of the world or whether it's just her :D

I don't know. I've just met spanish women, and they're too different from each others. I guess it is the same in every country. But I'm also aware that culture, education and traditions make a difference.

Bjorn was so chill, when we had the chance to do individual photos and I took the time to talk to him a bit about his guitar and whatnot, as I own one of his signature Epis, and he was really relaxed about it

Bjorn strikes me as a super nice guy who pretty much gets on with everybody. He has a really cool vibe about him in all the interviews I've seen with him involved. I met the band briefly way back in 2006 and he was definitely the friendliest, even though I was acting like a total fucking dork.

I was so nervous meeting them, Chris wasn't there so it was just the 4 of them. The 3 American boys were chill and cracking jokes, I've spoke to both a couple of tpimes over Instagram and they seem nice, Bjorn was super chill and nice to me, and I was too nervous and fanboying to say anything to Anders beyond thanks for the music
