Masks are a joke here. I understand the need to wear them in shitholes like in the USA, but Europe is a mess right now. Many countries are safe (for now), yet the mask rules are different. I believe you don't need to wear them in Austria, but you have to wear them here in stores and in public transport. I wear them in stores, but miss with that shit of wearing it in 30+ degrees (we have shit trains as well), when you don't have to wear it anywhere else. Like, people are waiting in hordes at public transport stops/stations unmasked, because you don't have to be masked, and that's fine, but once you get up on the train bus trolley whatever, the germs suddenly wake up. It's unnecessary here.
Not to mention, barely anybody cares or knows how to wear the mask properly. I regularly commute to our capital, probably the only place where most people still takes mask seriously, and it's usually worn under the nose or even under the mouth or chin. It annoys me, because IT'S THE RULE, WHY CAN'T YOU FOLLOW THE RULES YOU DUMB FUCK, but I usually do the same, because when you think about it, it's just silly. And I see so many people being worked up by it, it's amazing. They post pictures of people wearing masks improperly, and what not, and I am like how fucking retarded can you be? You make fun of them, then you leave the metro, you remove your mask as well, and spend a minute or so getting to the surface in a highly crowded area.
The rule (here!!!) is a joke, and I don't know why they insist on keeping it. It's either so they don't have to bring it back again during the second wave, because people may be less likely to obey if it was once abolished, or they just want to throw a crumb of bread to the people who are really afraid, so they can think that the government is doing their best, it's those stupid people who ruin everything. To be fair, our government did a good job of copying the right thing to do, but keeping the mask rule is obnoxious, and only creates unnecessary tentions.
And once again, I am talking about my country; when we were in danger as well, most of the people followed the rules, and the cities were ghost towns.
