I thought rtr was good the first couple of listens but then I started to dislike it a lot
STYE is better, but...I dunno, some of it is badass (mainly riffs here and there) but as a whole, they repeat themselves on the record too much I think.

Unfortunatley, it is horrible, rehashed trash. Then again, In flames really havent done anything worth listening to in many years.

STYE sucks hard, as does everything In Flames has done for a while.
I could ask the same thing of you. In Flames fans in particular have this habit of using "You're closed-minded" as an argument aginst those who call out the Kings of Gaythenburg on their general suckitude. Don't take that silly "We're being oppressed by the opinions of the metal mainstream" stance...In Flames IS the metal mainstream. That's not a knock on them, as Nevermore and Judas Priest are the metal mainstream too, and they're fucking KRIEG. But it's perfectly acceptable for us to dislike In Flames without you throwing a "You guys just don't want to admit people like the album!" bitch fit.
In conclusion, Vader owns you all. And I'm done.

My post is also, if you read it, a general indictment of In Flames fans who use that argument, as opposed to you specifically. I may have lashed out a bit, but that's because I am extremely sick of people riding that tired old horse.

If you didn't mean that, then you oughta work on saying what you mean. That's the logical progression of replying to criticism of an album with a snide comment about people having different musical taste.
