Inform me about blenders, humans!

whatever you do, please dont discuss falafels...

*had to write an 18 page paper about mcdonalds and falafels for english 200 2 years ago*

wasnt about that; it was about how mcdonald's and burger king, et. al. are causing conflict with local establishments in the mid-east, and specifically israel.

it's probably tremendously out of date now, but whatever

I can find tehini pretty easily too. They sell it at the farmer's market. It's a little heavier than traditional tehini so I mix it with some water too. Too much lemon or lime juice may add a nice taste but it is really bad for you. It blocks you up terribly.

Sabra is actully not too bad. It doesn't taste too much like real hummus but it definitely is edible. But I'd still rather just make my own. Besides that it only takes like 5 minutes to make, it's much healthier. For the cheapskates out there, it's also cheaper.
But for Sabra, I'd rather get harif, harissa and stuff like that since that is more of a pain in the ass to make.
But if I'm going to buy stuff, I'd rather just go to a middle eastern restaurant and buy it from them.

The blender, in our parts, is considered the 'cliche' wedding gift, for some reason... probably cause everyone has blenders already and no one needs a new fucking one but people (like me) still insist on buying the easiest gift possible.

My blender is HORRIBLE, and I only use it to make milkshakes or fruit drinks. All these things you people are talking about making with blenders, I use a FOOD PROCESSOR. Blenders must be pretty good these days to handle food processing actions.

Well, half the people at the wedding give blenders. Usually, they are the good blenders though. It's not like people are going to give cheap ones that can barely blend powder and juice for a wedding gift. Besides, blenders are a hell of a lot more practical than china, yet everyone always registers for that.

Many blenders come with food processor attachments. Besides, hummus is very easy to make with a blender anyway since it is soft. I don't really use food processors though. For chopping, always do that by hand since it make a big difference in the flavor. Food processors are also a real pain in the ass to clean.

"especially in israel" ?
really?
Is it because of the "cheese burger?"

yuuuup

my report focused on McDonalds/Burger King
*edit*

it also was about how the Western companies are irritating some of the leaders of the communities, e.g. those who do not want western corporations in an area of historical significance for one. stuff like that.

Yeah, thats why we have kosher Mcdies there and non kosher ones...
the kosher ones are basically only placed in places like Jerusalem and religious cities...

The majority of Mcdonald's there though is the non-kosher ones...
Burger King, I think is 100% kosher in israel (i.e no cheese burger)

^ I lived in israel for many years yes, I even did the military..

lol @ "BAT YAM" you know, thats where the Orphaned Land guys are from, and you now who else? Ali G, and also.... *dam dam dam*
Gene Simmons!
My town is less than a mile outside of bat Yam.
Bat Yam is very small and blah though. I wouldn't recommand a trip to that place.

(sorry OL guys... I said it out loud!)

The OL guys are from Bat Yam? I didn't know that. I know the Distorted guys and gal are.
Greed $immon$ us from Haifa. It is close to Bat Yam but not a part of that specific suburb. Like Rishon Letzion for instance.

Bat Yam kicks ass though! My grandparents' apartment is right across the street from the beach. The beach there is amazing. There is also lots of shit to do there. There are lots of clubs and bars around there.

man thats just crazy. one of the best things you can do to a burger is put some cheese on it! and bacon! these are both vital to a successful burger. just think if in-n-out had bacon, they could rule the world!
