Inspiration for The Lotus Eater

Hmm, thats really interesting. It seems incredibly relevant.

"the narrator is told of how Wilson exhausted all his resources. He continued living on the goodwill of the landlord who owned his cottage and did so for a year. By then, the landlord demanded that he pay the rent. In desperation, Wilson shut himself in his cottage and lit a charcoal fire in an attempt to kill himself."

That fits the mood and the context of the song so well.

this doesn't have much to do with this thread but has anyone notice on the back of the Watershed CD case it says The Louts Eater? I thought of course the actual CD would say the right songs so I thought millions of people had typos,
